In a statement issued on Friday, Commissioner for Information and Communications Kingsley Femi Fanwo specified that the restriction will be in effect from 7 AM to 4 PM on election day. This measure aims to ensure a smooth electoral process and enhance public safety during the voting period.

Fanwo stated that security agencies have been instructed to strictly enforce the order, with penalties for offenders.
