The National Publicity Secretary of the faction, Abayomi Arabambi, expressed these concerns during a press briefing held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He acknowledged that the removal of subsidies has exacerbated the challenges faced by Nigerians but voiced apprehension over the NLC President Joe Ajaero’s call to action, fearing it could incite violence against the Tinubu Administration.

Arabambi stated that while his party agrees with the NLC leadership on all lawful demands, they strongly disagree with the resolution calling for mass action, deeming it a treasonable felony offense to encourage citizens to take action against a legitimate government.

He proposed that workers can instead participate in a strike by staying at home until the government meets their demands.
