Obi highlighted the potential consequences of dissatisfied litigants who struggle to establish their cases due to obstacles posed by government institutions such as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He warned that this frustration might lead some to seek alternative, possibly unlawful means of seeking justice.

Speaking through his legal team, led by Dr. Livy Uzoukwu, SAN, Obi also commended the Court of Appeal for introducing live streaming of the judgment.

He noted that they had previously requested live streaming for all proceedings but were not granted the application. However, Obi expressed hope that the continuous live streaming of proceedings would enhance transparency and public engagement in the legal process, starting from the outset of future cases.
