Lady Left In Shock After Trousers Tear At The Back Inside BRT

A Nigerian woman has recounted an embarrassing experience she encountered while returning from work after discovering that her trousers had torn at the back without her knowledge.

According to the woman, she began noticing people staring at her while she was making her way home, but she initially could not understand the reason for the unusual attention.

She later joined a queue at a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) terminal and boarded a bus, choosing a seat close to the front because she planned to alight before the final destination.

The woman said she remained unaware of the tear until after getting off the BRT. She explained that a man who appeared to be in his 40s alighted at the same stop and approached her while she was listening to music with her earphones.

According to her account, the man alerted her that her trousers had torn at the back and that part of her body was exposed. The revelation reportedly left her shocked and extremely embarrassed.

The situation became even more uncomfortable for the woman because, according to her, she was not wearing an undergarment beneath the trousers at the time. She noted that the tear occurred at the back rather than the front, making it difficult for her to notice or cover immediately.

She said the man attempted to help by offering her a handkerchief to cover the exposed area, although she questioned whether the small piece of fabric would be sufficient to conceal the tear.

Reflecting on the incident, the woman expressed embarrassment over the possibility that several passengers and other commuters may have seen her without her knowledge during her journey.

She jokingly apologised to anyone who may have encountered her on the BRT, adding that those who saw her travelling towards Kano or Kaduna should simply assume she was leaving town to start a new life after the embarrassing ordeal.

The incident has since drawn attention to the unexpected and awkward situations commuters can experience during their daily journeys.
