A Nigerian lady identified as @Dora10o on X, formerly known as Twitter, has recounted a heartbreaking experience from her first visit to a correctional facility, sparking reactions from social media users.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the lady revealed that her first prison visit was prompted by the incarceration of her cousin, whom she said had been wrongly accused of a crime despite being innocent.

She explained that her cousin was among inmates who were instructed to pick cashew nuts in the bush and sell them to foreigners. However, an unexpected incident reportedly occurred during the activity, leading to her cousin being the only person apprehended.

The lady said her cousin subsequently spent about a year in prison before he was eventually released after his friend reportedly confessed to the crime.

Sharing her experience, she described the visit as tragic and said the situation left a lasting emotional impact on her.
