Lady Sparks Debate With Question To Men Who Ignore Women In Their 20s And 30s
A Nigerian lady has sparked an online conversation after questioning men who deliberately seek women between the ages of 20 and 25 for marriage.
In a video shared on social media, the woman challenged men who set strict age ranges when searching for potential wives, asking why women in their late 20s, 30s and even 40s are often excluded from their preferences.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the lady argued that women in their early 20s are still gaining life experience, developing themselves and discovering different aspects of adulthood. She therefore encouraged men to consider women who are older and may have greater life experience when choosing a life partner.
She questioned why some men specifically request women within the 20 to 25 age bracket, wondering what had become of women between 26 and 40 and whether they were being unfairly overlooked simply because of their age.
The woman further suggested that maturity and life experience should be important considerations in marriage rather than focusing solely on youth. She argued that men who deliberately seek very young partners should also understand that such women may still be navigating important stages of personal growth.
She also warned that some men could later become frustrated when their younger partners make mistakes or engage in behaviour they disapprove of, stressing that relationships require maturity, understanding and compatibility.
Her comments have generated reactions online, with the debate renewing conversations about age preferences, maturity and the qualities people consider when choosing a spouse.
