Lady Sparks Reactions After Demanding ₦10m Monthly Salary And ₦500k Upkeep
A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions on social media after revealing the minimum income she expects from a man before considering a relationship with him.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the lady made the disclosure in a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, where she stated that she would not consider dating a man who earns ₦1 million or even ₦500,000 monthly.
She said she would prefer a partner earning at least ₦10 million per month, adding that such a man should be able to provide her with a monthly upkeep allowance of ₦500,000.
The lady also explained that she does not believe she should be expected to contribute financially to the relationship, saying she considers her presence and availability to be what she brings to the relationship.
Her comments quickly attracted attention online, with social media users expressing different opinions about her expectations, financial standards and views on the responsibilities of partners in relationships.
While some users criticised her position, one commenter questioned whether intimacy was the only contribution she believed she could make to a relationship. Another user, however, noted that she was simply being open about what she wanted from a potential partner.
The discussion has since generated wider debate about dating expectations, financial compatibility, personal standards and the responsibilities individuals bring into relationships.
