Lady Stunned As Teenager Writes Her Shocking Letter Over Her Church Dressing

A woman has sparked an online conversation after sharing a letter she said was written to her by a teenage girl who criticised her dressing and expressed views linking women’s clothing to men’s sexual behaviour.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the woman shared the contents of the letter in a viral video, explaining that the teenager handed it to her after observing her conduct and appearance.

She said one section of the letter accused her of distracting herself and other people through her appearance and described the alleged behaviour as sinful. Another part reportedly advised her to “be dressed modestly as possible” and argued that when a man looks at a woman lustfully, much of the blame should be placed on the woman if she is dressed indecently.

The woman, however, disagreed with the criticism and maintained that she considered her outfit to be modest.

“Look at me. See how I’m dressed,” she said, explaining that she had deliberately adopted a conservative style whenever she attended church.

According to her, she had not worn any outfit above her ankles to church for about a year because she preferred dresses that flowed down. Despite this, she said the teenager still described her clothing as indecent and suggested that her appearance could cause men to lust after her.

The woman further claimed that the letter stated women were responsible for men’s lust “80% of the time” because of the way they dressed.

She questioned the thinking behind the statement, particularly because the letter was allegedly written by a girl she estimated to be around 15 or 16 years old.

“This is the mentality. This is the kind of person that tomorrow she will get married,” the woman said.

She also expressed concern about how such beliefs could influence the teenager’s response if her own child were ever sexually assaulted in the future.

The woman argued that attributing sexual assault or a man’s actions to a victim’s clothing could shift attention away from the perpetrator and instead lead people to question what the victim was wearing at the time.

She further described the teenager’s views as “male-centred” at a young age, suggesting that such beliefs could remain influential despite broader efforts to promote gender equality.

The woman concluded by expressing disbelief that her outfit had been described as capable of causing lust, stressing that she had made a deliberate effort to dress modestly for church.
