Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu Considers Reinstating Monthly Sanitation Exercise

The governor made this announcement during an inspection tour on Friday, September 22, as he assessed various areas of the state to ensure compliance with the government’s environmental sanitation initiatives.
Expressing his dissatisfaction with the continued disregard for environmental laws, particularly illegal trading under bridges and on roadsides, the governor reiterated his administration’s firm stance against such activities in the metropolis.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also called on commercial bus drivers to adhere to regulations and remain within the designated garages allocated to them.
He emphasized the need for road clean-up efforts and revealed that business owners in the visited areas had committed to maintaining a clean environment moving forward.
