The command’s spokesperson, Irene Ugbo, confirmed this operation and praised the officers involved for their courage.

Ugbo also acknowledged the assistance provided by the Njangachang youths in the area, who played a key role in apprehending the suspects. These suspects were found in possession of weapons, ammunition, and charms.
Commissioner Gyogon Grimah is determined to combat crime and criminal activities in the state, and he intends to ensure that Cross River State is no longer a safe haven for criminals, as directed by the Inspector General of Police.
