In a statement released by the Commission’s Public Relations Officer, Ikechukwu Ani, Dr. Arase lamented the challenging financial situation faced by many retired officers, including those in senior ranks, after retirement, emphasizing that this situation reflects poorly on the image of the Nigeria Police Force.

Dr. Arase emphasized that retired Police Officers have valuable contributions to offer the nation and should be given the opportunity to be productively engaged for their benefit and the nation’s welfare.

He praised the qualities of the late Officer, highlighting his integrity as a Police Officer and accomplished Public Relations professional.
