The apprehension of Bulus Danladi, a suspected human trafficker, was confirmed by the Kaduna State Police Command, as revealed by ASP Mansir Hassan, the Command’s spokesperson, in a statement to the press on Sunday in Kaduna.

According to Hassan, the arrest followed a complaint lodged on March 1 by Mrs. Jummai Danjuma and two others in the Katari area of Kachia Local Government Area. The complainants alleged that on February 27, Bulus Danladi, residing in Ankwa area of Kachia LGA, trafficked five young individuals from Katari to Eruku in Kwara, with the purported intention of employing them in a factory.

Upon reaching Eruku, the suspect reportedly transported the youth to a farm where he abandoned them before returning to Katari. Hassan mentioned that, out of the five trafficked youth, three have managed to return home and reunite with their families. The ongoing efforts to locate the remaining two are underway, with Hassan affirming that the suspect will face prosecution once a thorough investigation is completed.
