Law Enforcement Nabs Three Infamous Kidnappers Plus Alleged 70-Year-Old Bandit

The Kaduna State Police command recently made significant arrests, capturing three notorious kidnappers, a buyer of rustled cattle, and a 70-year-old suspected bandit.

Hussaini, hailing from Tudunjukun in Zaria, was apprehended by operatives from the Tudun Wada Zaria Division following credible information regarding his suspicious activities.

ASP Mansir Hassan, spokesperson for the command, revealed in a statement on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, that Hussaini was found in possession of an AK-47 rifle, a locally made pistol, and three cartridges.

The statement elaborated, “Following credible intelligence information about suspicious movement of an armed bandit, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Tudun Wada Zaria Division led a swift action resulting in the arrest of one Hussaini, male, 70 years old, from Tudunjukun in Zaria.”

“The arrest took place at about 0250 hours. During the operation, an AK-47 rifle, a locally made pistol, and three cartridges were recovered from the suspect.”

Hassan further stated, “The suspect is helping the police Investigations to apprehend his accomplice and will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is completed.”

The three kidnappers were apprehended in connection with multiple kidnapping incidents and cattle rustling activities in the North West region.
