Legal Actions Mount Against Bobrisky As EFCC Verifies Arrest Linked To Naira Mutilation....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, on allegations of spraying Naira notes. According to reports, operatives from the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC detained the 31-year-old following a video that surfaced showing him flaunting bundles of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, “Ajakaju,” produced by Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao at the Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, on March 24, 2024.
The EFCC stated that their investigation revealed similar incidents of the alleged offense occurring at various event centers and parties on different occasions. Bobrisky was summoned by the Commission and voluntarily appeared for questioning at the Lagos Zonal Command on the morning of Wednesday, April 4, 2024, where he provided his statements.
Upon the completion of investigations, the EFCC has announced that Bobrisky will face charges in court.
