Let Them Pay Wizkid $1 Million — Carter Efe Dares Afrobeats Star To Boxing Showdown
Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has reignited his long-running dispute with Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, claiming that his hit song “Machala” contributed significantly to Wizkid’s career while challenging the singer to a boxing match.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Carter Efe made the remarks during an interview with Yanga FM, where he declared that he was willing to face Wizkid in the ring without receiving any payment for the proposed bout.
The content creator suggested that Wizkid could be offered as much as $1 million to participate in the fight, while insisting that he would not demand a fee for himself.
Carter Efe also claimed that he and Wizkid “share glory” because of “Machala,” a song he released as a tribute to the singer. He said the track reached number one and generated financial gains for him, while expressing disappointment that Wizkid allegedly failed to acknowledge his contribution.
According to Carter Efe, Wizkid’s alleged lack of recognition influenced his decision to stop publicly acknowledging the singer as well.
He further challenged Wizkid to meet him in the boxing ring, presenting the proposed fight as an opportunity for both men to settle their differences physically.
The latest comments come amid a history of public exchanges between Carter Efe and Wizkid, particularly over the recognition the streamer believes he deserves for “Machala” and its impact on his career.
