Man Loses ₦60m Property After Wife’s Trusted Visa Agent Is Ex-Boyfriend

A Nigerian man has reportedly been left devastated after allegedly losing his only property, valued at ₦60 million, in an unsuccessful attempt to relocate abroad with his family.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the story was shared on X by a user identified as @silvoxbtc, who claimed that the man’s wife had repeatedly pressured him to move overseas because many of her friends and their husbands were already living abroad.

According to the account, the woman eventually persuaded her husband to relocate by telling him that she knew a reliable visa agent who could handle their travel documentation and other arrangements.

After initially resisting the idea, the man reportedly agreed to the plan. The couple subsequently sold his only property for ₦60 million to one of his friends and began the relocation process.

However, months reportedly passed without the family obtaining their visas. The man allegedly became increasingly concerned and began demanding updates from the agent, but no meaningful progress was made.

The situation reportedly took an unexpected turn when the man was using his wife’s phone and received a message. According to the account, he opened the message and discovered that it had been sent by the same individual his wife had introduced as their visa agent.

The man allegedly went through the conversations and discovered that his wife had been secretly communicating with the supposed agent for years.

When confronted, the woman reportedly admitted that the man was her former boyfriend but insisted that there was no longer anything serious between them. When her husband asked about the delayed visa process, she allegedly attributed the situation to challenges being faced by the agent.

According to the X account, the discovery left the man convinced that he had been deceived by his wife and her former partner. The report claimed that he was left dealing with the financial loss of his ₦60 million property as well as the emotional pain of what he considered a betrayal by his wife and the mother of his children.
