The message came during his performance on December 12, 2025, where he took the stage to entertain fans and addressed ongoing conversations about his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

Speaking to the audience, 2Baba said discussions about his personal life had gone on for too long and stressed that there are far more important matters affecting the country that deserve public attention.

He emphasized that after years of entertaining Nigerians through his music, it was time for people to redirect their energy.

“Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. I’ve entertained you all enough. Let’s focus on more important things,” he told the crowd.

In a related development, 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Idibia, are reportedly involved in a legal dispute with their landlord over unpaid rent for their residence.

The property in question is a 5-bedroom semi-detached duplex with a boys’ quarters (BQ), located at No. 27 Edwin Clerk Crescent, Guzape, Abuja FCT, according to Naija News.

Earlier claims by Natasha suggested that the house was a gift from her grandfather to her and 2Baba, leading many to believe the couple owned the property.

However, recent information indicates that the Idibias are renting the apartment, with court documents showing that the landlord is dissatisfied with the arrangement.
