Marriage Is A Beautiful Thing – Anita Joseph Breaks Silence On Failed Marriage With MC Fish

Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has maintained that marriage remains a beautiful institution despite her separation from her estranged husband, Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish.

The actress made the remarks in a viral video while interacting with her colleagues, Sarah Martins and Eriata Ese, who questioned her about the end of her marriage.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Anita clarified that her experience has not changed her belief in marriage, explaining that love involves expressing affection and making sacrifices for one’s partner.

She recalled that some people had previously complained about her frequent displays of affection towards MC Fish during their marriage. However, she maintained that showing romantic moments is part of being in love and demonstrating commitment to a spouse.

During the conversation, Sarah Martins reminded Anita of a moment when MC Fish reportedly cleaned her leg while they were still married. In response, the actress declared that she would no longer share pictures or videos of any man on social media.

Anita jokingly warned that anyone who sees her posting a man online should take away her phone and even escort her to church.

“If you see me posting a man, come and take my phone. Carry me come church,” she said, reiterating that she was not discouraging anyone from getting married.

The actress stressed that her decision was personal and did not mean she considered marriage a bad experience, maintaining that couples should be free to express love and affection for each other.

Meanwhile, MC Fish has reportedly disputed claims about the financial arrangements during their marriage. He alleged that he took out loans to sustain their lifestyle and rejected suggestions that Anita had financially supported him throughout their relationship.

The former couple’s comments have continued to attract attention on social media, with discussions centring on marriage, financial responsibilities between partners and the decision to make romantic relationships public.
