Mbappé Makes Bold Ballon d’Or Wish, Wants Award Back At Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has expressed his desire to see the prestigious Ballon d’Or return to the Santiago Bernabéu, saying the honour would provide the club’s supporters with another reason to celebrate.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Mbappé made the remarks during an interview with Diario AS on Thursday while discussing his hopes of winning the individual award.

The France international stated that he believes the current year presents a good opportunity for him to claim the Ballon d’Or, but insisted that his performances on the pitch should serve as the strongest evidence of his credentials.

Mbappé explained that he would be delighted to see the prestigious trophy return to Real Madrid and be celebrated by the club’s supporters at the Santiago Bernabéu. He noted that Madridistas deserve moments of excitement and success after consistently backing the team.

Since joining Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappé has continued to pursue both individual recognition and team honours as he establishes himself at the Spanish club.

The French forward also spoke positively about Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal, putting aside the intense rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Mbappé described the teenage winger as a highly talented player and backed him to enjoy a successful career.

He wished Yamal well in his development, highlighting the youngster’s qualities despite representing one of Real Madrid’s biggest rivals in Spanish football.
