Abuja, July 28, 2025 – As part of ongoing efforts to deepen inter-ministerial collaboration for national development, the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE, yesterday played host to Senator John Owan Enoh, Minister of State for Industry, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, at his office in the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.

The high-level meeting underscored the Tinubu administration’s commitment to synchronizing key policy sectors to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda. Both ministers discussed strategies for leveraging industrialization and regional integration as dual engines for inclusive economic growth and national transformation.

Engr. Momoh emphasized the importance of building strong institutional synergies between ministries to bridge developmental gaps across Nigeria’s regions. He noted that the newly expanded Ministry of Regional Development, under his leadership, is prioritizing collaboration with sector-specific ministries to fast-track economic revival and unlock sustainable development, especially in underserved communities.

“In today’s Nigeria, no ministry can work in isolation. The Renewed Hope Agenda is a collective vision, and we must build alliances to make it real for our people,” Momoh stated during the visit.

On his part, Senator John Owan Enoh expressed optimism that the alignment between regional development and industrial policy would stimulate localized production, enhance job creation, and encourage investment in industrial corridors across the country.

The ministers pledged to create a joint working framework that would ensure efficient execution of development projects, particularly in areas where regional needs and industrial capacity intersect.
