Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, Mourns The Passing Of Chief Ayo AdebanjoIt is with a deep sense of loss and profound respect that I join the nation in mourning the passing of Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a towering statesman, an unrepentant advocate for justice, and a fearless critic whose voice resonated across generations.

Chief Adebanjo’s journey through life was marked by an unshakable commitment to democracy, good governance, and the principles of true federalism.

He stood firm in his convictions, never yielding to intimidation nor compromising on the values he held dear. His steadfast dedication to the betterment of Nigeria was evident in his relentless advocacy for equity, fairness, and national unity.

As a courageous elder statesman, he remained a beacon of truth, never hesitating to speak truth to power, even in the face of adversity. His intellectual depth, political foresight, and patriotic zeal will forever serve as an inspiration to all who seek a just and prosperous Nigeria.

At 96, Chief Ayo Adebanjo leaves behind a legacy of courage, integrity, and selfless service to the nation. His contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape, his mentorship to younger generations, and his fearless pursuit of democratic ideals will not be forgotten.
