Missing Corps Member Sparks Urgent Call For Enhanced Security, Says NYSC DG

The Director of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Dogara Ahmed, has called for a united effort in the search for missing corps member Yahaya Farouk.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Dogara Ahmed made the appeal during his visit to the residents of Ikuru town in Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State, where the missing corps member was stationed. He urged both the youth and elders of the community to collaborate with security agencies in locating the corps member.

He further emphasized that it is the duty of host communities to ensure the safety and well-being of corps members serving in their areas.

Meanwhile, the NYSC DG also addressed corps members at the Akwa Ibom State Orientation Camp in Ikot-Idie on Monday, urging them to use their inter-tribal differences to promote national unity and integration.

He stressed the importance of building strong, positive relationships during their service, which will leave lasting, positive memories. “Once your Orientation Course is over, settle into your places of primary assignment and engage in meaningful activities,” he advised.

Ahmed assured the corps members that the NYSC management would continue to prioritize their welfare and encouraged them to be exemplary ambassadors for the country.
