Hailing from Kano himself, Abba took to social media to express his jubilation over the tribunal’s decision. In his post, he wrote, “All praises be to Allah 🇳🇬🙏 Alhamdulillah ☺️ Kano is fully APC.” This straightforward proclamation, however, has stirred mixed reactions from netizens.
Many questioned the appropriateness of such a high-profile figure, closely related to a key security official, openly supporting a political party. Critics argue that it is another example of the blurred lines between state apparatus and political affiliations. This isn’t the first time Abba has come under scrutiny for his explicit support for the APC.
