Speaking to journalists in Sokoto on Thursday, February 29, Umahi conveyed that Tinubu’s directive aims to facilitate his ambitious housing program and the implementation of concrete roads.

Umahi emphasized:

“I urge them to adhere to Mr. President’s directive to enable us to realize the extensive housing program and the revitalized hope agenda of concrete roads initiated by the President.

“I am here to personally witness the progress. As you are aware, the federal government is presently executing a 372-kilometer dual carriageway project, with the first phase employing asphalt and the subsequent phase utilizing concrete.

“When you calculate the total length of 372 kilometers, factoring in the dual carriageway, it amounts to a total of 744 kilometers. The following 372 kilometers will be constructed entirely with concrete in alignment with Mr. President’s renewed hope agenda.”
