Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kingsley Moghalu, has announced that he will no longer entertain interview requests concerning Nigeria’s economic crisis. Moghalu cited his belief that engaging in discussions with those who are unresponsive to solutions is futile.

In a recent statement on his X handle, Moghalu explained his decision, emphasizing that he has already shared numerous insights on how to address Nigeria’s economic issues. He suggested that those interested should review his previous interviews for detailed perspectives.

Moghalu expressed frustration at the current state of affairs, noting that while he does not depend on Nigeria’s economy for personal survival, his concern stems from a genuine passion for the country’s welfare. He concluded, “I’ve declined nearly all interview requests from Nigerian media in recent months because engaging in unproductive dialogue is pointless. I’ve provided ample solutions on how to improve the economy, and those seeking answers can refer to my past statements.”
