The request for their custody was initiated by the Lagos State Police Command, who sought a 30-day remand period for both men. This was in light of the ongoing investigation into the mysterious demise of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, more famously known as Mohbad.
However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, after reviewing the application, decreed a shorter remand duration, mandating that the duo be held for a span of 21 days.
