singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has confirmed serving a notice of a pending DNA test application on his son’s wife, Wunmi, through alternative means.

According to reports from PUNCH Metro, the Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu granted the order on Monday of the previous week.

Monisola Odumosu, the Aloba family’s lawyer, stated on Friday that the notice was affixed at Wunmi’s last known address earlier that day, as per legal requirements.

“We expect her to appear in court or her legal representation on May 14, 2024,” Odumosu added.The Aloba family initiated the lawsuit seeking a DNA test for their grandson, Liam, and requested it to be conducted at a recognized medical facility within the state.In related news, attempts to serve Mohbad’s wife with court documents at her Lekki residence on March 8 were unsuccessful.Mohbad passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, prompting investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.Formerly signed to Marlian Music owned by Naira Marley, Mohbad’s departure from the label in February 2022 drew attention.

The Lagos State Police Command established a special investigation team on September 18, 2023, to probe the singer’s demise, leading to the arrest of Naira Marley and others.Mohbad’s body was exhumed for autopsy on September 21, 2023, as part of efforts to ascertain the cause of death.
