Sports are not only a fun way to increase a youth’s physical activity level and develop lifelong habits for good health, but they also help reduce crime rates among youths.

Sports build stronger communities by encouraging teenagers to take an active role in their communities. This is because they will be constantly trained to interact with other adolescents, meet players from different schools, and be exposed to people outside of their immediate circle.

The annual Ibie Sports Festival has just begun in IMIEGBA, Estako East LGA, and it was a naira rain as the Guest of Honor, Engr Moses Omo-Ikirodah, the aspirant for Etsako Federal Constituency for the National Assembly under the PDP, inspired the competitors with mouthwatering monetary donations and other empowerment drives.

It is an annual event, and the third edition began yesterday. It includes, among other things, football, volleyball, and table tennis. The event was kicked off by Moses Omo-Ikirodah.

You know these youths need to be inspired for greater productivity and creativity as the youths are undoubtedly the leaders of tomorrow, so kudos to Engr Moses for not only inspiring them with his presence but also with his motivational cash donations, which would undoubtedly spur them on to give their all, you should see the smile on their faces.
