The Lagos State Police Command has successfully apprehended the notorious suspected traffic robber who topped the most-wanted list for criminal activities around the Ijora Badia area. Operatives from the Ijora Badia Division, acting on actionable intelligence, focused their efforts on monitoring Odunsi’s activities before finally apprehending him. The suspect, allegedly responsible for numerous traffic robberies in the Iganmu and Ijora under Bridge areas, had managed to elude capture on multiple occasions, earning a reputation as a dangerous assailant with distinctive dreadlocks.

Fortunately, on Tuesday at around 3:30 p.m., the police received intelligence indicating that Odunsi and his gang were planning an operation at Iganmu under the bridge. Swiftly mobilizing, operatives from the Ijora Badia Division moved to the scene, resulting in the arrest of the suspect as he emerged from his criminal hideout. While his accomplices managed to escape, Odunsi was taken into custody and subsequently confessed to his involvement in the criminal activities.

Hundeyin emphasized that the investigation is still ongoing, as law enforcement works to gather more information about the suspect’s activities and his potential connections within the criminal network.
