Mother Of Binance Executive Urges FG: Exchange My Freedom For My Son’s

She made an emotional plea, offering to exchange herself for her son’s freedom. “He’s innocent, that’s all. I’m begging everyone who can help, please bring him home. Take me instead; just let him go home. I don’t care what happens to me,” she stated.

Tigran Gambaryan, a U.S. citizen and Binance’s Financial Crimes Compliance Chief, was arrested in February 2024, along with Nadeem Anjarwalla, upon arriving in Nigeria. Their arrest followed an investigation that allegedly linked Binance to money laundering and terrorism financing. While Anjarwalla fled to Kenya, Gambaryan remains on trial in Nigeria, facing money laundering charges and is being held at Kuje Correctional Centre.

Concerns about Gambaryan’s health have been raised by his family and Binance, but the Nigerian Correctional Service has assured that his medical evaluations indicate he is in good health.
