Motherhood Under Fire: Wumi Toriola Reacts To Mockery About Having A Single Child

The incident occurred just days after the actress made a pointed remark at an unnamed individual, questioning whether their movie could even make it into a top-five list.

Shortly afterward, a troll mocked her in the comments, referring to her as a “mother of one child.”

Known for standing her ground, Wumi responded with a lengthy post addressing the user. She questioned why he chose to target her and encouraged her followers to check his page and respond to him.

She also warned that the fame he seemed to be chasing would only bring stress and unrest. Wumi wrote:

“Unclez. I don’t know you, yet you woke up and typed ‘OLOMO KAN’ on my page. I don’t understand what you mean, but I want my followers to bless you with a curse. Onigba omo, e ma sesin ni. Amin. You still dey bully Olomo kan abi, eni jeere. Amin. That stardom, you will get, but it will cause you trouble and will not give you rest.”

Wumi Toriola got married in 2018 and welcomed her first child, a son named Zion Toriola. In January 2023, she announced her marriage had ended.

Despite the separation, she has said she and her ex-husband co-parent well and that she hopes to have more children in the future.
