The bout took place at Chaos in the Ring 4 inside Balmoral Hall at the Federal Palace Hotel, where Carter Efe also walked away with a ₦50 million cash prize.

He was declared winner by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the fight 27–30 in his favour.

Speaking after the match, Carter Efe said he felt like a world-class boxing champion, describing the fight as an easy victory. He claimed he controlled the contest from the opening round and said Portable struggled after absorbing early clean punches.

He added that by the second round, Portable had begun to lose strength, while the final round saw him unable to sustain any strong resistance.

“I am feeling like an international world star. My new name is Carter Mayweather. The fight was so easy. First round, I already damaged his face. Second round, he was shaking. Third round, he fainted,” he said.

Meanwhile, Portable has expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of the fight.

In a live Instagram video on Saturday morning, the singer alleged that the match was unfair and not properly judged.

He accused Carter Efe of lacking professionalism and also claimed the organisers failed to accurately count his punches during the bout.
