My Wife Set Me Up!’ — Baba Ijesha Opens Up On Marriage Crash

Speaking in a podcast interview on Talk to B hosted by Biola Adebayo, he recounted how his efforts to support his wife’s plans to study abroad ended in heartbreak.

According to him, the marriage began peacefully without any major issues. He explained that when his wife expressed interest in pursuing a master’s degree in the United Kingdom, he took full responsibility for making it happen—handling her visa, purchasing her flight ticket, and ensuring all arrangements were in place.

However, he said things took an unexpected turn after she arrived in the UK, when he discovered that her trip was not genuinely for academic purposes.

Baba Ijesha alleged that she used the opportunity to reconnect with another man, a revelation he said came as a shock and ultimately led to the breakdown of their marriage.
