This development comes just 48 hours after former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, picked up the All Progressives Congress (APC) forms to contest the same seat.

In a Facebook post on Monday, the lawmaker expressed appreciation to her husband, Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, for supporting her decision to seek re-election.

She noted that she would not have taken the step if he had opposed it, highlighting his role in encouraging her ambition.

She wrote, “If you had said no, I wouldn’t have taken this step toward the 2027 Kogi Central Senatorial election.

“But instead, you understood my purpose and the responsibility I feel toward our people, and you chose to stand by me. By personally purchasing my nomination form, you demonstrated a deep belief in me that goes beyond politics.”

Natasha had earlier made it clear that she would not step aside for Yahaya Bello, insisting she is determined to contest and secure victory in the election.
