Mr. Sanyaolu Juwon, National Coordinator of the movement, confirmed the details in a statement on Thursday in Abuja. He emphasized that the event marks a pivotal moment in their campaign, which began on August 1, 2024, as a 10-day protest but has since grown into a larger, ongoing movement with participants nationwide and abroad.

The protest aims to highlight the severe hardships faced by citizens and draw attention from all levels of government. Although there have been instances of violence and the protest has been hijacked by criminal elements, it has seen significant participation, particularly in northern states.

Despite President Bola Tinubu’s appeal for protesters to pause and allow his administration more time to address issues, demonstrations have continued in cities like Abuja and Kano.
