Chidozie Nwangwu, a well-known native doctor from Anambra, known as “Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki,” has disclosed that he could have prevented his own abduction but chose not to.

Nwangwu narrated the events, stating that he had received a call from someone claiming to be at his hotel, spending money and wanting his presence.

He drove alone to the hotel but soon gunshots erupted, causing panic. Witnessing the violence, he believed that fleeing would lead to more deaths and falsely implicate him.

To protect lives, he decided to follow his abductors, emphasizing that he had not taken anyone’s money, and his abduction was related to the ongoing sit-at-home protests in the region.
