This information was shared by Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (Rtd), the Chairman of the anti-narcotics agency.
He was responding to Governor Dikko Radda’s request for increased collaboration and the deployment of NDLEA officers throughout Katsina State to address the problem of drug abuse.
Marwa emphasized the severity of the drug menace, which has had a detrimental impact on the lives of young people and communities.
He described it as the primary public enemy, particularly its role in criminal activities. Marwa stated that the NDLEA, with the support of its directorates and management, has focused its efforts on what they call “offensive action,” involving the seizure of all drugs, whether cultivated, imported, or on the verge of being exported out of the country.
