The procurement records revealed additional contracts, including N3 billion for rechargeable fans in the deputy governor’s office and over N440 million for a new Lexus LX 600 Bulletproof Sport Utility Vehicle for the Chief of Staff’s office. The procurement agency acknowledged that the amounts might seem excessive, covering the entire 2023 period for multiple offices, but emphasized alignment with prevailing economic conditions.
