Odusiga made this statement on Saturday during her investiture as the 13th chairman and the first female leader of the Abuja branch. She emphasized the significance of her appointment, saying, “We’ve never had a female chairman before. It’s time to recognize the contributions of women across all sectors.”

She highlighted the unique capabilities women bring to leadership, stating, “When a woman is in leadership, her impact is often more noticeable compared to that of a man.”

Reflecting on her journey, she expressed optimism that her leadership would motivate other women to participate more actively in the institution, noting, “In the past, men were reluctant to allow women in leadership. I believe my position will open doors for other women to rise.”

Odusiga’s vision also focuses on inspiring younger generations. “One of my goals is to encourage younger individuals, especially those in secondary schools, by involving them early in the profession,” she said.

She also stressed the importance of fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors in the real estate profession, stating, “As a public servant, my vision is to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors.” Odusiga called for greater engagement from public entities in the institution’s activities, emphasizing that collaboration is essential for growth.
