In Benin, demonstrators have defied government directives and set up roadblocks on multiple roads. Meanwhile, in Ugbowo, Edo State, the atmosphere remains calm with protesters assembling at Akpakpava Road, near Ring Road, the officially designated protest site.
In Abuja, hunger protesters gathered at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, adhering to a court order that confines them to the venue. They arrived as early as 6 a.m., chanting solidarity songs, while heavy security presence was observed at the site.
