Mr. Jollof cited a biblical passage about recognizing one’s mistakes as the reason behind his decision. In a circulating video, he openly criticized the current economic hardships and the recent fuel price hike in the country.

Having warned Nigerians against supporting the APC after leaving the party, he feels disheartened that his advice was not heeded.

Speaking in Pidgin English, Mr. Jollof emphasized that he was initially a strong supporter of Tinubu but felt let down by the actions of the people around him.

In light of this, he returned to Ifeanyi Okowa, who warmly welcomed him, leading him to express his newfound support for the PDP candidate.
