The breakdown reveals that the states collectively spent ₦5.1 billion on refreshments, ₦4.67 billion on sitting allowances, ₦34.63 billion on local and foreign travel, and ₦5.64 billion on utility bills, totaling ₦50.02 billion during the specified timeframe. These utilities encompass various expenses such as electricity, internet, telephone charges, water rates, and sewerage charges.

Additionally, the states disbursed ₦405.77 billion for workers’ salaries and allocated funds for other recurrent spending items like foreign and domestic travel, internet access fees, entertainment, foodstuff, honorariums, wardrobe allowances, telephone bills, electricity charges, stationery, anniversaries, special days, welfare, and aircraft maintenance, among others.

For instance, Abia State expended ₦10.92 billion on recurrent expenditures, including amounts allocated for refreshments and feeding, utilities, sitting allowances, and local and foreign travels. Similarly, Adamawa State disbursed ₦23.7 billion for recurrent expenditures, with allocations for refreshments, utilities, sitting allowances, and travel expenses.

The breakdown further includes expenditure details for Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Lagos, Borno, Cross Rivers, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Zamfara, and Taraba states during the same period.
