He called for the President to seek alternative solutions and organize a non-partisan national summit focused on economic and security collaboration to address the country’s urgent challenges.

Additionally, Achebe condemned the violence and property damage caused by unknown assailants in the South-East, stressing the lack of effective governmental response. He also raised concerns about insufficient funding for local vigilante groups, which he believes are essential for enhancing security in the region.
