NLC Postpones Delegates’ Conference In Imo State Without Set Date

Ugboaja cited unforeseen circumstances in Imo State as the reason behind the suspension of the conference. The congress had initially communicated that the conference was scheduled to take place on January 10 in three states, namely Abia, Imo, and Osun, under the leadership of caretaker committees.

In his statement, Ugboaja conveyed the information to all affiliates, particularly those with state councils in Imo State, about the indefinite suspension of the previously planned state delegates conference in the state due to unforeseen circumstances.

He clarified that the conferences in the other two states, Abia and Osun, would proceed as initially scheduled. Ugboaja assured affiliates that updates on any further developments would be communicated as efforts to strengthen the Congress and fulfill its mandates continued.
