Sowore’s demand follows a series of shocking allegations made by Nwoko’s estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, who claimed that she was only 17 when she married the lawmaker and that he allegedly forced her to take drugs.

In a statement posted on , Sowore stressed that Regina was legally a minor under UK law at the time of the marriage, noting that Nwoko remains a registered legal practitioner in Britain. He stated that any sexual activity during that period would amount to statutory rape under British law.

Sowore described Regina’s accusations that Nwoko introduced her to hard drugs and sexually assaulted her while she was underage as “deeply disturbing,” insisting that such allegations constitute serious criminal offences deserving thorough investigation.

“It is unacceptable for Ned Nwoko to continue parading himself as a lawyer in the United Kingdom while facing these damning accusations,” Sowore wrote. “The Law Society of England and Wales and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) must initiate disciplinary action through the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal to assess his fitness to practise.”

The activist further accused Nwoko of using political influence, wealth, and police connections to evade accountability, warning that “impunity has an expiry date — and that time is now.”
