The Office of H.E. Comrade (Senator) Adams Aliyu Eric Oshiomhole has addressed rumors of an alleged rift within the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, dismissing claims of tension over cabinet positions in the anticipated administration of Senator Monday Okpebholo as Governor of Edo State.

According to Oshiomhole’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Victor Oshioke, these baseless claims are a desperate ploy by the demoralized Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to destabilize the victorious APC following its recent election triumph. Oshioke explains that the PDP has resorted to fabricating stories in a futile attempt to create division within the APC.

Setting the record straight, Senator Oshiomhole has emphasized that no discord exists within the APC leadership. As a former governor, he fully supports the incoming governor’s right to independently select his team and has confidence in Senator Okpebholo’s capacity to appoint competent individuals who will advance Edo’s development.
