No Vacancy In Ondo Govt House, My Certificate Is Genuine – Gov Aiyedatiwa

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has firmly asserted the authenticity of his academic credentials amid circulating rumors questioning their validity. Speaking at the national party headquarters in Abuja after receiving clearance from the Screening Committee for the primary election, Aiyedatiwa dismissed any doubts about the legitimacy of his certificates.

Addressing the issue, Aiyedatiwa emphasized that his certificates are genuine and denounced the allegations as malicious attempts by rival aspirants to tarnish his image. He clarified the discrepancy regarding the establishment date of his former school, Ikosi High School, which was built in 1980 under the administration of Lateef Jakande. Aiyedatiwa explained that due to the restructuring of schools at the time, he and his peers were transferred to Ikosi High School, where they completed their education and sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in 1982.

Responding to the skepticism raised by detractors, Aiyedatiwa assured that the necessary investigations have been conducted, and his academic records can be verified through the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) website. He encouraged skeptics to verify his credentials through the official channels, underscoring the transparency and legitimacy of his educational background.

When asked about his message to those attempting to undermine him, Aiyedatiwa reiterated that there is no vacancy in the Ondo State government house, emphasizing his focus on governance and commitment to serving the people.
