The burial took place in his native town of Iwo, situated in the Ede Local Government Area of Osun State.
Sisi Quadri’s interment ceremony followed the Muslim customs and occurred around 1 pm on Saturday.
The beloved Nollywood figure passed away at the age of 44 on Friday, as disclosed by some of his fellow actors in the Yoruba film industry.
Actress Abiola Bayo shared the news on her verified Instagram account, expressing heartfelt condolences and wishing him eternal peace.
Known for his comedic prowess and adeptness in delivering sharp-tongued retorts, Sisi Quadri’s talent was widely celebrated.
The confirmation of his demise also came from the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), with its National President, Bolaji Amusan (popularly referred to as Mr Latin), conveying the sad news through an Instagram post.
Amusan’s post reflected the collective grief, wishing for eternal rest for the departed soul.
