The report states, “Dust Haze continues to be the prevailing weather across the country, although we expect gradual improvements in horizontal visibilities as slight dust haze is anticipated over the northern region throughout Sunday.”

As dust haze persists across the nation, affecting visibility, NiMet foresees gradual improvements in specific regions. The agency predicts that the northern region will experience slight dust haze throughout Sunday, potentially impacting horizontal visibilities.In regions extending from the North Central down to the southern parts of the country, moderate dust haze is expected, with horizontal visibilities ranging from 2000 to 5000 meters.

“The North Central down to the southern parts of the country are expected to encounter moderate dust haze with horizontal visibility of 2000 to 5000 meters,” reads the report.

Given these weather conditions, NiMet advises individuals to take precautions to mitigate the impact of dust haze on outdoor activities and travel. This includes the use of protective gear such as face masks and goggles to minimize exposure to airborne particles and protect respiratory health. Furthermore, individuals with respiratory conditions are encouraged to limit outdoor exposure during this period and seek appropriate medical advice if experiencing any adverse health effects related to the dust haze.
