Not The Best Wife, But Still Want Kids’ – Wunmi Toriola’s Shocking Confession On Ex-Marriage

In a recent interview on TVC’s Your View, Wunmi disclosed that although she has no current plans to remarry, she is open to expanding her family — specifically with her former spouse.

According to her, their co-parenting relationship is going smoothly, and while her ex-husband once expressed doubts about her being a good wife if they reunited, he also praised her parenting skills.

She said:

“I’m not interested in getting married right now, but I do want more kids with my ex-husband.
He once told me I might not be the best wife if we got back together, but he also acknowledged that I’m a great mother to our child.”

Wunmi added that although her ex-husband is not yet remarried, she’s unsure about his current relationship status. However, their focus remains on raising their child peacefully and effectively as co-parents.

Meanwhile, fellow Nollywood star Funke Akindele has opened up about her emotional struggles, including a near-death experience following her mother’s passing and her political setbacks.

In a heartfelt interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Funke reflected on the pain of losing her mother, the breakdown of her marriage, and her loss in the 2023 Lagos State gubernatorial election.

Addressing accusations that she failed to support the late Esther, a cast member of Jenifa’s Diary, Funke explained that she was dealing with personal turmoil at the time.

She also stated that she is solely responsible for raising her children with estranged husband Abdulrasheed Bello, also known as JJC Skillz.
